Provider Terms

LAST UPDATED: JANUARY 14, 2026

1. Who the Provider is and the relationship with Hireeo

The Provider acts as an independent professional or business. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, agency, or representative relationship between the Provider and Hireeo. The Provider is responsible for its own tax, labor, social-security, and professional-licensing obligations.

1.1. Relationship classification

These Terms describe the intended contractual relationship between the parties: Hireeo does not set the Provider's schedule, does not require exclusivity, and does not impose the rates the Provider charges for its services. How this relationship is ultimately classified by a labor authority or court will depend on the actual facts of how it is carried out; this clause is a contractual description, not a guarantee against reclassification.

2. Service listings — categories and verification

The Provider is responsible for:

  • Holding the licenses, registrations, insurance, and permits required for the Provider’s trade in the applicable country, including electricity, gas, construction, or transportation.
  • Listing services that fall within permitted categories and satisfy the requirements applicable to regulated categories.
  • Keeping any licenses, registrations, insurance, and permits declared on the platform current.
  • Accepting that Hireeo may suspend or remove a listing that falls within a prohibited category or does not meet the verification required for regulated categories.

2.1. Verification scope

Hireeo does not currently perform government ID verification, criminal background checks, or validation of licenses, registrations, or insurance with official bodies. Hireeo's verification is limited to confirming the account's email address and moderating published content. The Provider is solely responsible for the truthfulness of any license, registration, or insurance it declares.

3. Commission and payments — applicable model

The Client and the Provider agree on and pay for the service directly with each other, outside the platform. Hireeo does not take part in that transaction, does not hold the service payment, and does not charge a commission on its value. The only charge Hireeo collects from the Provider is the Premium plan subscription described in the Terms and Conditions.

3.1. Payment processor

The Premium plan subscription is processed through Stripe. Hireeo does not process payment for the service contracted between the Client and the Provider.

3.2. Settlement to the Provider

Not applicable: because payment for the service is agreed and made directly between the Client and the Provider, Hireeo does not hold or settle those funds. The Premium plan subscription is charged directly to the Provider under Stripe's billing cycle.

3.3. Invoicing and taxes

The Provider is responsible for its own invoicing and taxes under the laws applicable to the Provider’s country.

4. Reviews, reputation, and moderation

  • The Provider may respond to reviews received.
  • Hireeo moderates content under the PENDING → ACTIVE workflow.
  • There is currently no documented formal moderation appeal channel; no specific appeal deadline is promised until one exists.

4.1. Review and ranking integrity

Buying, incentivizing, or fabricating fake reviews is prohibited, consistent with the FTC Rule on Consumer Reviews (16 CFR Part 465) and applicable ranking-transparency standards.

5. Provider no-shows and cancellations

For a repeated, unjustified no-show or cancellation by the Provider, Hireeo may apply, proportionately and on a case-by-case basis:

  • A warning recorded on the account.
  • A temporary account suspension.
  • Account removal in serious or repeated cases.

6. B2B/P2B conditions (European Union)

If the Provider is a business or professional using Hireeo as a B2B sales channel in the EU, Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 (P2B) applies and the following must be reflected at a minimum:

  • The ranking criteria and their general weighting, without disclosing the exact algorithm.
  • The reasons for suspending or restricting the Provider account, with reasonable prior notice except in cases of serious breach.

6.1. Internal B2B/P2B complaints channel

The Provider can submit a complaint about their profile's ranking or about the suspension or restriction of their account by writing to legal@hireeo.app, stating the facts and the decision being challenged. Hireeo acknowledges receipt of the complaint and responds within a reasonable time.

7. Ownership of published content

The Provider retains ownership of the photos, descriptions, and content it publishes.

7.1. Content license

By posting content on Hireeo, the Provider grants Hireeo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content within the platform, solely to operate and promote the listed service. This license ends when the Provider deletes the content or their account, except for backup copies Hireeo may retain for a reasonable period under the Privacy Policy.

8. Dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by applicable United States law. Any dispute will be resolved through binding individual arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA), and you waive any right to participate in a class action, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Account termination and suspension

Hireeo may suspend accounts for violations of these Terms, including prohibited categories under the trust and safety program.

9.1. Notice of suspension or termination

Except in cases of serious breach (for example, prohibited categories, fraud, or illegal content), Hireeo notifies the Provider at least 15 days in advance before suspending or removing their account, stating the reason for the action.

10. Personal data rights

You can exercise your right to know, access, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal data by writing to legal@hireeo.app. If you are a California resident, these rights are additionally guaranteed under the CCPA/CPRA; residents of other states may have equivalent rights under their state's privacy law.

11. Cooling-off or withdrawal rights when applicable (B2C)

There is no general federal cooling-off right for these services. State-specific rules or rules for particular transactions may apply, and mandatory applicable law will govern.
