Acceptable Use Policy
LAST UPDATED: JANUARY 14, 20261. What cannot be published or contracted through Hireeo
The following services or content may not be published or requested through Hireeo:
- Sexual services or services of a sexual nature.
- Any service or content involving or facilitating the exploitation of minors.
- Sale or brokering of weapons.
- Sale or brokering of illegal drugs.
- Services requiring a medical, legal, or financial license that Hireeo cannot verify.
- Unauthorized or unlicensed gambling.
1.2. Regulated services
The following trades are subject to mandatory licenses or registrations and require verification of the applicable credential before a Provider may publish them:
- Electrical work.
- Gas services.
- Construction or works.
- Transportation or hauling.
1.2.1. Credential verification
Today Hireeo verifies only the account email address and moderates published content. It does not perform government identity verification or validate registrations or licenses against official bodies. Accordingly, the Provider represents, under their sole responsibility, that they hold the licenses, registrations, or permits required for regulated trades, and must be able to show them to the Client on request. Hireeo may request additional documentation, restrict or remove listings, and suspend accounts where there are indications that a Provider offers regulated services without the applicable credential. As we introduce credential-verification flows, we will announce them and update this policy.
1.3. Sensitive categories
Some services may be performed in private homes and, occasionally, in the presence of minors or other vulnerable persons. In those cases, the Provider must act with special care and diligence, comply with applicable child-protection law, and refrain from any inappropriate conduct. Hireeo is not directed to minors: to use the platform as a Client or Provider you must be of legal age in your jurisdiction. If categories requiring additional safeguards or specific age restrictions are enabled in the future, they will be flagged expressly at the time of publication or contracting.
2. Prohibited conduct on the platform
The following is prohibited regardless of the service category:
- Posting false or misleading information about identity, credentials, or the service offered.
- Impersonating another Provider, Client, or the Hireeo brand itself.
- Posting or requesting fake reviews, or manipulating the ratings system.
- Harassing, threatening, or intimidating another user through platform messaging.
- Disclosing another user’s personal information without consent (doxxing).
- Using the platform for fraudulent activities, including payment triangulation or requesting off-platform payments to evade controls.
3. Consequences of violations
The moderation, notification, and appeal process for violations of this policy is governed by the Trust and Safety Policy and is not repeated here.
4. Enabled category catalog
Enabled service categories are managed centrally on the platform and may vary by country. You can review the current list of categories when you publish your service on Hireeo. Regulated categories that require specific licenses that are not verified, and any category that poses an unreasonable safety risk, are excluded.
4.1. Publishing regulated categories without verification
While there is no automatic credential-verification flow, the Provider may publish services in regulated categories by declaring, under their own responsibility, that they hold the required license or registration. These listings may be shown with a notice reminding the Client to request and check the credential before contracting. Hireeo may request supporting documentation and remove the listing or suspend the account if it finds that the Provider does not hold the declared permit. Regulated services are contracted directly between Client and Provider, who are solely responsible for verifying compliance with applicable legal requirements.
4.2. Automatic category blocking
Compliance with these rules is currently enforced primarily by moderating published content and reviewing the reports we receive. Automatic blocking of prohibited categories at the moment of publication is a planned improvement that is not yet available. In the meantime, Hireeo reviews flagged listings and removes those that violate this policy. You can report a listing you believe is prohibited by writing to legal@hireeo.app; we will confirm receipt and respond within a reasonable time.
5. Local legal review
The rules in this policy apply across all countries where Hireeo operates (Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Spain, and the United States). Some services may be subject to additional requirements or prohibitions under each jurisdiction’s sector-specific law. Where this policy conflicts with a mandatory rule applicable in your country, the local rule prevails. If you have doubts about the legality of a service in your jurisdiction, we recommend consulting a professional before publishing or contracting it.
6. Personal data rights
You may exercise the privacy rights recognized by applicable law—depending on your state, these may include the rights of access, correction, deletion, and to opt out of certain uses of your data—by writing to legal@hireeo.app. There is no single federal privacy authority; the available rights and response times depend on your state, including California’s CCPA/CPRA and other state privacy laws. We will confirm receipt of your request and respond within the period required by the applicable law.
7. Cooling-off or withdrawal rights when applicable (B2C)
There is no general federal cooling-off right for these transactions. State-specific rules or rules for particular transactions may apply, and mandatory applicable law will govern.
8. Dispute resolution
This policy is governed by applicable United States law. Any dispute will be resolved through binding individual arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA), and you waive any right to participate in a class action, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Publication status
This version of the Acceptable Use Policy is in effect as of the date shown in the header. We may update it to reflect changes in the platform, in the enabled categories, or in applicable law; when changes are material, we will communicate them through the usual channels. Continued use of Hireeo after a new version takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
Thank you for helping us keep Hireeo safe for everyone.
